Our client is on a journey to become best in class for Business Change. They are converting our delivery model to Agile and changing the overall change culture from one of large scale change, to smaller, quicker, higher quality customer focused change activity as well as seeking formal accreditation.
The business change function is seeking a Business Manager who will act as the right hand to the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Business Change. The role will not have direct line management but will be responsible for the operational tempo and cadence of the function; ensuring that the SVP has sufficient insight.
Strategy is key to the Client’s new model, and the Business Manager will sit on the Leadership team and provide the guidance and monitoring required to ensure that strategic outcomes are achieved, this will require a high level of stakeholder management as well as the ability to entice, and support other colleagues to ensure that the correct focus is maintained.

Our Client is a growing SME which offers services in cost analysis, portfolio and programme management, and Operational Analysis (OA) to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Defence industry. They are expanding rapidly and seek highly motivated and technically able consultants with the following profile and skills:

  • British Nationals with current SC or DV clearance
  • Applicants with between 5 and 20 years’ experience in Defence analysis in one or more of the following disciplines:
  1. MOD approvals (knowledge of IGBC, MGBC, JSP507, JSP655 etc)
  2. Cost analysis/ estimation (knowledge of gathering cost data, estimating, CAAS guidelines, CDALs, V&V, etc)
  3. Portfolio, programme and project management (schedule and risk analysis, benefits realisation, evidence management etc)
  4. Operational Analysis (OA) to support Business Cases &/or MOD policy development (knowledge of spreadsheet modelling, technology road mapping etc)
  • Must to be good with people and able to interface directly with customers
  • Has to have the positive, flexible and self-motivated attitude necessary for working in a small company.
